"Service to humanity is one of the noblest attributes a man can acquire": Hamdard Foundation Bangladesh being a charitable organization is performing welfare, looking after the humanitarian affairs and carrying out its charitable, educational and other philanthropic activities. The Foundation promotes supports and develops indigenous or Natural medicine & Medical science and their utility to mankind. Hamdard Foundation provides medical, educational, and economic aid to deserving persons and institutions, for humanitarian cause, general welfare and charitable purposes.

Hamdard Foundation promotes and brings about advancement of learning, education and knowledge. Poor but brilliant students are granted educational aid or stipends from the Foundation. Students eligible are offered this facility around the country. One Unani Medical Colleges at Bogra and one at Dhaka has been raised and functioning under the economic patronage of Hamdard Foundation. The third and most important contribution of Hamdard Foundation Bangladesh towards education is starting the Hamdard Public College at Dhaka from the current year i.e, May, 2010. This College is providing free education and accommodation to the poor and brilliant students along with text books, uniforms, etc.

The next educational goal in the pipeline is Hamdard University Bangladesh (HUB). It will begin its activities, as soon as it gets the permission from the Government. Initially It will start functioning at Meghnaghat, Sonargaon campus with 4 (four) faculties like Faculty of Science, Engineering and Technology; Faculty of Arts and Humanities; Faculty of Business Administration and Faculty of Natural Medicine.

The temporary campus of HUB will be shifted from Meghnaghat, Sonargaon campus to the main campus at Gazaria, Munshigonj (Beside Dhaka-Chittagong highway) in the near future. More than 100 Bighas of land approximately 1.5 Million square feet (Sft) has been purchased for HUB campus on the bank of river Meghna. A very well drafted Master plan has already been designed for the University. To realize the dreams of Dr. Hakim Mohammed Yousuf Haroon Bhuiyan, MD, Hamdard Laboratories (Wqf) Bangladesh and Secretary General of Hamdard Foundation, there will also be an " International Research Center on Natural Medicine" in this complex. Researchers from all around the world will be coming here and get all facilities and support for quality research particularly on Natural Medicine. Hamdard visualizes a world class University with latest research facilities and logistics for higher education to its highest level. Hamdard University's motto is “In Pursuit of Knowledge”. The HUB graduates will be a core resource of highly skilled manpower for the development of the country.
