ALVASIN
Description :
Alvasin is a unique combination of valuable herbs for all types of cough and cold. Vasicine is the main ingredient of Bashok which has expectorant, bronchodilator, antitussive, mucolytic and antiallergic properties. Jastimadhu has antiallergic properties due to glycyrrhizic acid by inhibiting the secretion of histamin. Alvasin is effective and safe, well tolerated and non-sedative for both adults and children.

Composition:
Each 5 ml syrup contains
Adhatoda vasica 1.00 g
Cordia dichotoma 0.20 g
Glycyrrhiza glabra 0.05 g
Althaea officinalis 0.05 g
Malva sylvestris 0.05 g
Nymphaea nouchali 0.05 g
Centella asiatica 0.05 g
Cydonia oblonga 0.05 g
Acacia arabica 0.025 g
Cochiospermum religiosum 0.025 g

Indications:
All types of cough (dry cough, smokers cough, hacking cough, whooping cough, tubercular cough, allergic cough), common cold, congestion of lungs, bronchitis, tonsillitis, bronchial asthma, hoarseness of voice, sore throat and influenza.
Dosage:
Adults: 2-5 teaspoonful twice daily.
Children: 1-2 teaspoonful twice daily or as directed by the physician.
Contraindication:
There is no known contraindication.
Side effect:
No significant side effect has been observed in proper dosage.
Precaution:
Keep out of reach of the children.
Storage:
Store at cool and dry place protect from light.
Presentation:
Amber glass bottle contains 100 ml & 225 ml syrup.
